Endorsed: Mrs. Emma Garrick [later Jones], Carpet given. She is very grateful to Miss More for her kindness and thinks the inscription everything proper and just of her deceased husband. Went to town with Mrs. Payne. Has sent the carpet though it is scarcely worth her acceptance.
